When I'm on Facebook (and this is the only time it occurs), the screen will be changed as if it's been hacked. It changes to a black screen with a warning mssg:

"Mozilla Security has found critical process activity on your system and will perform fast scan of system files." Including an "OK" button.

When this has happened, I've either closed the tab, or returned to the facebook page on was previously on. This is not consistent, and it's occurring on various pages of facebook.

The URL displayed in the web address also changes each time. I managed to print screen when it happened this a.m. so I could email you. Please help...this is alarming.

That will be a fake message, Mozilla does not scan your files. Depending on the browser you use the message you see can change to reflect the browser being used. If you let it, it will not perform an actual scan, instead it displays some graphics to make it appear that it is performing a scan, it will then notify you that there are problems and you need to download and install some software to fix it. That software will infect your computer if installed.

To ensure that your computer is clean, try running several malware scanners. It is best to run several as each will pick up things that the others miss. Some scanners you can try are:
