ForecastFox add-on seems to have downloaded, but didn't install -- what do I do?

I just upgraded to Firefox 4, and the feature that always gave me the weather in Paris down at the bottom has disappeared. So I downloaded the add-on ForecastFox, hit restart when it told me to, and absolutely nothing changed -- I don't see the weather anywhere, and I have no idea how to find the add-on. Can I go back to the old Firefox?

Did you have the menu bar hidden?

Ah, that helped -- your suggestion prompted me to go into "View" and I saw that the add-on bar wasn't checked, and now I have the weather display I had before. The menu bar was checked as "on", but apparently this add-on doesn't register on the menu bar. Thanks for your help. Tom
