Tabs no longer display the "close" button. I have to close by right clicking and selecting "Close Tab".

No 'x' appears at the top of each tab allowing you to close a single tab. You can only close by right clicking and choosing "close tab" from the menu that appears.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
