Bookmarks box will not show up and I cannot save new bookmarks.

I cannot save any new bookmarks and the bookmarks box to enter in information about the website you want to save will not pop up. I already did the trouble shooting for extensions and themes with no results. What should I do?

The article covers most reasons why bookmarks may be problematic. I would also recommend you make a manual backup of any bookmarks you currently have to guard against further loss and any accidental overwriting. See manual backups
