Firefox will not appear in the Market for most phones with incompatible hardware. You can check if your phone is supported here:

https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android

Even on some supported devices, a bug in the Market software prevents Firefox from showing up. This may be related to the fairly recent Android Market app update. If you go to Settings/Applications/Market and choose "Uninstall" you can uninstall the update, and then search for and install Firefox from the marketplace.

The current releases of mobile Firefox supports the ARMv7 and not ARMv6 (ARM11).

Ok it uses a ARMv6 according to one site (not sure which cpu) so if that is the case then the current mobile Firefox releases will not work so your option at the moment is to perhaps try the experimental ARMv6 nightlies (Fennec).

Not sure what you mean by ARM. I am still learning about the droids. I think I will stick with the dolphin browser for now.

It does complicate things a bit when phones and tablets (and MIDs, PMPs using Android) uses a wide variety of CPUs.

Cannot wait for good tablets with Android 2.3 and 3.0 as chips like the Nvidea Tegra 2 (Dual-core Cortex-A9) will then shine as 2.2 is holding it back.
