.ogv video files are continually loading. File never finishes downloading on server requests.

I'm trying to get an HTML5 video player to work on my site. Upon doing this, I noticed on my site that the server requests for .ogv files are continually. At first, I thought this was an issue with my server, but I can now see it must be a browser issue. It is happening on all sites with .ogv files.

I am using firebug's "Net" panel to monitor the server requests. Is anybody else getting this issue and is there a way to fix it?

Another weird note..Half of the time, I do not get the loading issue on this page.

No problems here.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
