Select Last Visited Tab on Tab Close

Problem with addon, TabUtilities. After closing a tab, the browser always focuses on the right furthest tab REGARDLESS of what I select(or unselect) in the three boxes under Tab Closing in the settings. I even tried changing to different Values in "extensions.tabutils.selectOnClose" in about:config. Nothing seems to have an effect. I am trying to set TabUtilities to focus on the Last Visited Tab after closing a tab. In other words, focus back to the tab that contains the link I opened a new window with. I have tried every setting including the Last Visited Tab with no success. Thanks so much. Using FF4b8 on WinXPProf

Thanks, Helper, I solved myself by reading the TabUtilites Mozillazine thread. For anyone else wanting to focus on the last visited tab after closing a tab, you must go into About:config to "browser.tabs.selectOwnerOnClose" and change the value to true.

your solution didnt worked for me. so i tried also to search in that thread http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=1702465 but it was 105 pages long, i didnt want to read it all :). so i googled it for last visited tab, it find my page about 84 i guess, there was mentioned about tab utilities lite, that it doesnt work too one among more features and that it can be also due to bar tab extension which i had installed via nightly tester tools because it wasnt compatible with my firefox version, bar tab lite for new version of firefox might have this problem too.

now after disabling bartab ITS WORKING!!!
