I logged onto my acct on the computer and went to bookmarks. I was surprised to see none of my bookmarks. I thought I got on the wrong acct. So I logged out and back in. Somehow another user's bookmarks were all on my acct. I did a system restore and my acct went back to normal. But I decided to check that the other user's acct was ok. When I went on his acct there were all my bookmarks and search history! WTH? So I did a system restore again and his acct went back to normal. Well I went back to my acct and it's back to his bookmarks again! I'm so confused! Not only that but when I'm on my acct it goes into his email and anything I search shows up in the search history of his acct. How the hell did this happen and how can I get it back?

It seems like it must be something with the Firefox...my user acct pic is the same and my password is fine. My desktop icons and other things I saved onto my acct are all the same. The only thing that changes is after I open Firefox then I see that my bookmarks are gone and my search history is replaced with his search history, and when I go to certain websites I see the other user's name come up and I can log straight into his email w/o knowing the pw.

If Firefox is running in any acct then it won't run on any other acct. The only way to open Firefox in one acct is to go on the other acct where it was running first then close it. I was in a guest acct using the internet. I decided to check on the other user's acct. After I logged in I realized the other user's acct became the guest acct! Seriously, WTH is going on?

Are you using the same profile folder on both accounts?

Are you using Firefox Sync to synchronize the profile folders?
