Every time I open Firefox, It rolls back to 3.0.6.

It doesn't matter if i just updated to the newest version the last time i used Firefox, the next time i use it, it tells me that my plugins are not compatible & that I should "update to the latest & greatest version." Have you ever heard of this problem, & if so how do I fix it?

Try "Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults" on the Safe mode start window - See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Resetting_preferences
