No, they are just being auto-archived.

So is there a way to filter out the low quality archived answers? At a certain point in time this site will have collected so much dust it will become useless.

These answers answered the question of one particular person at a particular time.

I guess everything older than a year has to be considered outdated. If you have a question, it's better to ask instead of searching.
