Two factor authentication problem

I hate 2 factor authentication. I don't want to use it.

But I was sent to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/secure-firefox-account-two-step-authentication because I dared try to make (ok alter) a theme.

Authy sent me a unusable non-windows file, so I tried KeePassXC. It has no place to put a secret key...nor does it even mention one in its guide.

I downloaded KeePassXC just for this, not that I wanted to, so how do I fix this draconian policy need? This program gave me a 16 digit code, but nowhere to enter or use it.

  • /questions/1276862 KeepassXC is listed as a suitable 2FA application, however there seems to be no way for it to generate a security code from a QR code.
