so I JUST sent a message that I THOUGHT would go to the actual PEAOPLE AT firefox as it USED to. BUT all it did was go to some damn forum. if FIREFOX can't answer then I will go BACK to checking out other browsers. I guess the ppl at firefox are getting lazy . . . . .

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers. If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

You can also file a bug report or feature request. See File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products for details.

thanks Fred. not quite so irritated now, & so I just don't like forums, I have never had much luck with them. for instance I work on cars & trucks. grew up with Fords mostly. I have tried FORD forums and I am sure those can help out but I have never gotten anywhere with one of those, so I don't like a forum. people always say "OH just "google" it as if google is the only search engine . . . it has become the go to word for a search on the internet of any subject. and sometimes rather thaqn google it, the suggestion is a forum, which probably works for some.

but what I find is many times doing either of these gets real time consuming. I can sit her3e the better part of a DAY looking for answers sometimes and many times I just give up & take care of a problem a different way.

the last time was finding parts for a ford pickup & I finally was able to get some parts ONLINE at a big discount, solving the problem. and so I find that parts online can sometimes work out well but not all the time, but it took the better part of a COUPLE of days, LOL . . . . .

and when I said some damn forum . . . .it's just I FIND that & a lot of looking around on the net very time consuming so I don't like doing that if I can just get what I nedd locally, & info from a forum seems a lot like doing things online, which I try NOT to do.

now, I think firefox has changed their pages layout & I did find the feedback part & I do think they got my message, which at this point I think may NOT be their problem. and noiw the search engine that would not come UP is back so problem gone.

and thanks to those who do volunteer time in forums, whether I use the forum or not. have a good week.

ok, one more post . . .a comment, you say the FEEDBACK goes right to firefox. and I THINK I DID stumbel into the right place to do that the other day. but I just looked again, I tried that link you said to use. it took me to a page where I can't find any way to just type some comments to them at firefox. I could see things to click on talking about general problems. the problem with that is I can waste time browsing thru all that. and I I do get in that & type, I gues I am just typing to a FORUM & that the firefox ppl go thru those comments in a forum????

they USED to have feedback directly to THEM, it seemed real easy then. now I forgot how I did it the other daqy, but it's sure not as obvious as it WAS, I had to spend some time finding it, I STILL am not sure where my comment went, I mean there was the comment I left HERE in the forum but the other one . . . . .still no reply from them, so I don't know. as I said it USED to so much easier to message THEM at firefox.
