Browser doesn't restore the previous session

Hello everybody! I have recently installed firefox browser on my mac air and I have faced a problem with the previous session restore. Although I put a tick in the settings to restore my previous session, firefox still opens the home page. I don't understand what's wrong because on my previous windows computer everything was (and is) fine.

I have a new Macbook Air. I ticked the restore previous session, closed Firefox, reopened, and it worked just fine. Maybe something here will help.
