firefox is always active. why?
The Firefox logo is always in the active area at the lower-left of the Windows 7 screen, I'd like FF to operate like all other programs.
Chosen solution
Is it actually running or is the icon just pinned to the taskbar? If it's outlined, it means it's actively running. If it's not, that means it's just pinned there.
If you want to unpin it from the taskbar, right click on the icon and select Unpin from taskbar.
Hope this helps.
