I need to disable 2 factor authentication & my account page does nothing when I press the red disable button. Also this site is very confusing to find support.

I updated my phone and lost access to the 2 factor authentication for my firefox account. The account page does not allow me to disable even though it says 'disable' in red. pressing does nothing. Please disable this so I may retether my phone to my account. i am logged in on my desktop, and have used 1 recovery code to login on my phone, and have access to all other recovery methods but can't disable this one measure. please help. Thanks in advance.

You need a fresh login to the Firefox account page to be able to disable 2FA. Try to clear the accounts.firefox.com cookies and try again.

Thank you for your help - this has been resolved. Is there a way of me replacing the 2 recovery keys i had to consume to complete this process? Thanks and sorry if I need to start another ticket for that

You should be able to create a new set of recovery codes via the settings page (Two-step authentication -> Change -> Replace recovery codes). Note that this will invalidate recovery keys that were created previously.
