fix the parameter is incorrect when opening links out of firefox (ex: clicking on links on league of legends client)

when i click an link outside firefox, in another app, it gives an error saying the parameter is incorrect, i've tried setting another browser as default, i have 3 installed, it worked fine setting opera as default, but didn't work on chrome and firefox, give the same error for both, how to fix it?
