Shortly after I believe an update to Firefox was completed, I found that a couple of the websites that I normally go to would only partially load and no matter how many times I refreshed the page they still wouldn't completely load. I found this primarily with the Netflix website and with a page I manage on Facebook. Coincidentally, my personal page on Facebook loads, but the page I manage does not.

I tried the steps already provided, such as; making sure my antivirus software was updated, I did a complete scan of the computer, took Firefox off the trusted list in my antivirus software, rebooted the computer, reinstalled Firefox on the trusted list, once again rebooted the computer, and still not getting the pages to fully load. Someone please HELP!!!

Thank You!

Hi,

Would you adjust the zoom : press the Ctrl key and tap either the + or the - key.

If that makes a difference then you are most likely dealing with a new bug, where users have disabled 'ClearType' font smoothing in Windows Settings. This bug is expected to be fixed with the next Firefox update (59.0.2).

For now you could just re-enable 'ClearFont' or, if you don't want to that : temporarily disable hardware acceleration, as described in this article :

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/performance-settings

(after you've disabled hardware acceleration, close and restart Firefox, in order for the change to take effect)

Hello,

Thank You so very much for getting back to me on this issue. The "control key" and + or - helped immediately. I had to click the + key twice for both Netflix and the Facebook page in order for everything to show up and only once on another page. But it worked! YIIPPEEE!!!

Why were the pages goofed up in the first place, and will this issue be fixed soon?

Thanks Again!

If everything goes well, it should be fixed with the next update (fingers crossed ....).

Have a lovely weekend  !
