Most recent update of Firefox renders bookmarks dysfunctional. How do I revert to an earlier Firefox version that works?

In earlier versions of Firefox, getting to my bookmarks was one click to open a file where I saved important bookmarks to differentiate from more general bookmarks. Now that file is hidden and does not come up without searching all bookmarks. Requires three or more clicks. This is a perfect example of taking a system that works well and introducing unnecessary complexity that renders the system confusing and inefficient. I would like to revert to an earlier Firefox version that worked and disable further automatic "updates" by Firefox. Any advice welcome.

hi, the following steps should get you back to the bookmarking structure you're familiar with :))

  • click on the 57 library icon library icon and go to bookmarks > bookmarking tools > add bookmarks menu to the toolbar.
  • now when you click the Bookmark Menu icon (star on tray) icon that's newly appearing on the toolbar, you'll get to the same bookmarks menu like in earlier versions...
