I had my privacy set so that history was not recorded. I accidentally closed a page of tabs that were important. Is there anyway to restore those closed tabs?

By "a page of tabs" do you mean a whole window? I'm pretty sure you cannot restore a private window after it was closed, but it's easy to check: on the History menu, are there any closed windows you can re-open? If not, then you can't do it.

You can't reopen any Private Browsing mode tabs since they aren't recorded. That is the disadvantage of using PB mode, once you close the tab then this tab is gone. You can consider to bookmark tabs (drag the tab to the Bookmarks Toolbar or click the star) or pages you consider important enough.
