Why I suddenly cannot open my gmail page without this page suggesting check cookies etc etc my it guys says its to force users to chrome any fix please john

Cannot open g mail page any more on Mozilla without being told to check cookie settings etc etc which leads to reading loads of useless information designed to frustrate with no solution. Our IT guys say it a way to force users to use CHROME which will open g mail no problem. Any fixes please as I wish to keep using MOzilla. John from Dublin
