Is there any way to change Firefox to ALWAYS "never remember passwords" for site where I sign up for an account. I know it is probably a minor annoyance but I never want Firefox, EVER, to remember a password for an account I sign up for. Is there any way to stop that dropdown box from coming up every time I sign up for a new account?

Thanks.

Chosen solution

Type about:preferences#security<enter> in the address bar.

Under Logins, Turn off Remember Logins

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.
