Every session with Firefox now involves me managing Adobe Flash Player in the Task Manager....killing it over and over. Not an issue with either Explorer (ick) or Chrome. Chrome has become my default browser after years of Firefox/Thunderbird usage.

You have NVidia’s network access manager or Forceware Network Manager software installed. Disable / remove it. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/connectivity-crashing-firefox-43-update
