How do I open a profile file so that I can read the information?

I know how to find my Mozilla profile, but how do I actually open the "bookmarkbackups" , "sessionstore-backups", & other such files so that I can actually *read* the information contained within? I hope you understand what I mean.

Those files aren't meant to be "read" like a text file. The bookmark backup JSON files can be read, but there are no line breaks, just one super long line of alpha / numeric data.

Does this question relate to your posting - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1076290 - from earlier today?

So what's the point of having the files if we can't understand the information in them? Yes it does relate to that. I want to go into my Mozilla profile on that computer save the files on a jumpdrive. Is there any way I can do this & maybe backup the information in those files on another computer that has Mozilla? I hope you understand what I'm trying to do.
