Hi,

I am trying to disable the "customise..." menu item that you get when right clicking at the top of FF

I have added the below to my userchrome.css with no success - can anyone help?

  1. toolbar-context-menu { display: none !important;}
  2. tabContextMenu {

display:none !important;}

  1. contentAreaContextMenu {

display:none !important;}

Chosen solution

Try this code in the userChrome.css file.

Add code to the userChrome.css file below the default @namespace line.

@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

#menu_customizeToolbars,
#viewToolbarsMenuSeparator,
menuitem.viewCustomizeToolbar {visibility: collapse !important; }

#PanelUI-customize { visibility: collapse !important; }
#PanelUI-help { margin-left: auto!important; }

The customization files userChrome.css (user interface) and userContent.css (websites) are located in the chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder.
