The Mozilla VPN provides an encrypted tunnel to the web from any software or app on your computer or mobile device. By connecting to the Internet through another server, you will hide your real location and throw off data collectors who could profile you based on your location. For example, if you're in California and you choose a server in Sydney, Australia, data collectors will think you're connecting from Sydney.

When you turn on Mozilla VPN, it will automatically choose a server from over 30+ countries. You can also change servers at any time:

  1. Open Mozilla VPN (you can open it from the Windows 10 app tray too).
  2. Sign in with your Firefox Account (only required the first time).
  3. Click the Select Location.

  4. Choose a server location from the list.
Connecting to a server that’s far from your real location might cause slowness in your Internet connection.
