Firefox Accounts lets you access Mozilla Services on any device with Firefox or Firefox OS. All you need to create a Firefox Account is an email address and a password.

What services can I use with Firefox Accounts?

The following Mozilla Services are available now:

  1. Firefox Sync: Access your browsing data, like bookmarks, history, passwords and open tabs on multiple devices with just a Firefox Accounts login.
  2. Firefox Marketplace: Purchase paid apps safely, add and track app reviews, and access your app library on all your devices. (Note: Free apps do not require a Firefox Account.)

Use Firefox Accounts to access the following services in the near future:

  1. WebRTC: A Firefox Account is not required to communicate with your friends using Firefox's upcoming video and voice chat feature, but it gives you the option to create a contact list.
  2. Find My Device: Find, lock or erase a lost Firefox OS device from your computer.

How do I sign up for Firefox Accounts?

You'll see an option to sign up through each Mozilla Service, or visit the Firefox Accounts signup page and follow the steps below.

  1. Enter your email address, password and year of birth, then click Next.
  2. When the confirmation email arrives, click on the verification link.
  3. Once your account has been verified, sign in to your favorite Mozilla Services on all your devices to start using it.
If you have problems verifying your account, please see I'm having problems confirming my Mozilla account.
