What size local storage are available in FF 20?

I read that earlier FF local storage was 5 Mb. How big is it now? dom.storage.default_quota is this in bytes or Kb?

My entry in about:config says 5120, and I would decypher it as kb, iow my setup has 5MB for this entry.

Any problems that hint at this entry as a possible cause? Just curious.

PS: I am running FX 21, so maybe its apples and pears comparison.

My dom.storage.default_quota = 10002444 This is more than 5 MB
