When I try to get to my MYMSN homepage I am able to get to the log in page but after I have filled out my information and press continue, instead of going to my homepage I receive a dialog box with the message: ALTHOUGH THIS PAGE IS ENCRYPTED, THE INFORMATION YOU HAVE ENTERED IS TO BE SENT OVER AN UNENCRYPTED CONNECTION AND COULD EASILY BE READ BY A THIRD PARTY. ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO CONTINUE SENDING THIS INFORMATION? When I press the CONTINUE button the same dialog box reappears. I can repeat this process quite a few times and then I am directed back to a MYMSN page which states that: SOMETHING WENT WRONG AND WE CAN'T SIGN YOU IN RIGHT NOW. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER. I don't have this issue when using either Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.

Hello,

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  5. Now click the Clear now button.

Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox article.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

Thank you.

Best might be to log in via the https://login.live.com website if you have this issue with entering the credentials on another (possibly insecure http) page.
