Hmm, let's start with your home page.

What is the current page address? If it's not listed in the address bar, right-click a blank area of the page and choose View Page Info to call up the Page Info dialog. The address should be listed there and you can triple-click it to select it and right-click > Copy or press Ctrl+c to copy it (then paste it into a reply).

If you want to select a different home page, see: How to set the home page.

Regarding Netflix, I don't have an account, but usually people tell us they got an error message so I'm not sure what to suggest next. Could you test in Firefox's Safe Mode? In Safe Mode, Firefox temporarily deactivates extensions, hardware acceleration, and some other advanced features to help you assess whether these are causing the problem.

If Firefox is not running: Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.

If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
  • Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

and OK the restart.

Both scenarios: A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Refresh).

Any improvement?
