My Firefox browser kept freezing up and acting very slow so I closed it. When I reopened it all my tabs did not repopulate like normal. None of them. I have the box checked to reopen all tabs on restart and it has always worked, not this time. Why! How can I get them back. Thanks, Aldo

Would love to know how in task manager there are 10+ firefox services running with only 4 tabs open and the usage is ridiculous. Closing one tab the next one that was using roughly 250mb shoots to over 600mb...what are you playing at????

In Firefox, after a reboot, how can I re open my previouse sessions?

Originally I had quite a lot of open browsers & tabs. Then I needed to do a reboot, and now I've lost those previouse sessions.

Usually I just open firefox, and this opens one browser, and then all of my previous browser, and tab reopen, but this time firefox crashed, and its popup said it needed to restart, but it would re-open my previous browser and tab, but it didnt.

After following the usuall firefox help giudes, it still wouldn't re open my previouse sessions. Now if I ask it to open my previouse sessions, it just opens the recent help giudes, and not anything before the crash.

So is there a backup file of myu missing sessions that I can roll back to?

hello tried a few things from help docs on line. nothing working. just keeps happening. tabs will say gah. your tab just crashed. works for a bit but once happens.... have to close whole firefox and open again. just started happening yesterday. I have used firefox for many many years never a problem. Something was not updated right. Please tell me how to fix this once and for all. if not I have to leave using firefox this is driving me crazy. terrible. Using Mac OS 10.13.6, Firefox recently updated to 115.0.3, and now the Overdrive app (from the public library) won't download audiobook files anymore. Have tried clearing cache, restarting, removing book files, restarting, and reloading the OD app, etc. The error message is that the app can't connect to the internet. My internet connection is fine - this is only happening with this app. It only started doing this when Firefox updated. I tried loading an earlier version of Firefox but it automatically went to this Beta update channel version. Can you help me go back to an earlier version of Firefox that won't automatically update? (I'm not able to upgrade this Mac, and this OS is the one that Overdrive works with. Firefox was the only browser that worked with Overdrive. Thanks - hope you can help!

Pretty much every video I attempt to play, including https://www.allaboutbirds.org/cams/red-tailed-hawks/# will play the video only when audio is muted. unmute the audio and you get the audio track but the video is paused.

Can't figure this one out, I've seen it only in the last few days (it started when I was using 127.0.0 and continues in 127.0.1)

Chrome and Chromium don't do this.

Suppose that I have a 5 kbyte comment with multiple paragraphs, and I skip around copy and pasting from one place to another, and highlight some sentences and over write them either with typing or pasting. When I go to undo or redo some of these things, it causes a big screw-up in the text.

Other than it being my problem to recompose the damaged sentences, etc, what developers need to be contacted to fix the undo and redo functions of the YouTube comment input text controls for YouTube videos?

I would like to use Firefox as a browser on my Linux Mint device. As I said in the headline, I have set all languages in the system as well as in Firefox to German and uninstalled and reinstalled the dictionary. So when I write something in Firefox it is underlined in red and when I right click for the context menu where word suggestions are made, only English is displayed and if I then scroll down and want to add another language as a spell checker, Firefox sends me to the add-on administration, which didn't help me. Because no matter what I do, only English (USA) is displayed as the language for spelling. Is there perhaps no way to change this, or is there another method?

FF just updated to 127. Every time I open it I get the whole intro shebang about migrating, extensions, etc. When I finally get to "Start Browsing" none of my tabs or bookmarks will load. I have cleared the cache, tried reinstall and no change. What's next, please?

Im using Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Intel cpu I7 9th gen NVIDIA gpu but i disabled it My problem is that the Picture in Picture mode isnt sticky if i press anything it vanishes from view.

Hi Mozilla - I just wanted to report some recent phenomena. In the past couple weeks Firefox, and related Private Browsing browser, seem to have developed consistent hangups in fetching data across a pretty wide range of sites. Both my banking sites will not load after logging in to them, just spins and spins. Also some very general searches will not load any results for minutes at a time, I just give up and kill them. I've uninstalled/cleaned/reinstalled latest version, etc, etc. By comparison, these same data fetches in banking sites, etc, work dandy in Duckduckgo browser, which is also a heavy no-trace browser. This ominous to me as I really like Firefox and do NOT want to have to resort to Edge. Duckduckgo browser is very good but doesn't have nearly the menu or favorites sort of features that Firefox does. Can you investigate? This is typical Win 10 system in Lenovo i7, been working like a champ till just recently, no system changes. Thanks.

The company I work for is behind a firewall. Our systems running firefox are unable to send crash reports because of the secure nature of the systems. Is there a way I can send the crash report files that I pull from the "Pending" directory and send them to Mozilla manually? FF version snap Mozilla Firefox 103.0.1 Ubuntu 22.04.3

I keep getting a popup about using an older version and creating a new profile. I already created a new profile a few days ago so I cannot keep creating new profiles every time firefox deploys a new version and would need to open firefox to update the browser version.

Have used Firefox for decades and suddenly it is having problems. If I surf around and have a few tabs open, some of them might crash. Firefox tries to restore them and sometimes it works and sometimes they just crash again immediately. I can go to Amazon and the page won't load completely so I can't do anything. If I try and close Firefox it won't close, it is frozen. And often, pages just load very slowly even though my internet connection is strong. This just started about a month or so ago. I have refreshed Firefox, updated it, and checked the systems on my computer. All my internal diagnostics returned "no issues." So it has to be the program.

When I reboot a Windows 10 computer and click once on the Firefox icon on the Taskbar, (1.) Firefox does not open full screen although when closed it was full screen. (2.) A second Firefox window opens with Yahoo on a Tab and also not full screen. Please fix!
