In MAC, if a website displays 2 or more popups, firefox becomes unresponsive. In Windows, this is working properly.

Suppose there is a button in a website, clicking on which, a new window opens. Consider that there is a button on the pop-up window as well, clicking on which another window pops out. When I try to close the windows one after the other, Firefox becomes unresponsive. I can not close the subsequent windows even. I have to Quit Firefox and open it again. If I perform the same sequence of actions, the same result would be obtained. This happens only in MAC. In Windows, it is working properly.

Please provide resolution steps.

Hi listeruk,

That is how the website is built. We cannot change the design of it. The question is more on why the FF window freezes in MAC, when it works fine in Windows. Are there any settings that we need to do on the browser?
