Problem began 2(?) days ago. Login is okay and In Box is displayed but unable to open any notes. None of the Hotmail menu items function when clicked. Can't open notes or change folders. Able to check boxes for notes but not to Move or Delete. Only function that works is SignOut. Checked for Foxfire updates -- none available. These problems occur only on system running Foxfire 3.6.13 under Win2000 -- Foxfire 3.6.12 under Win-XP has Hotmail functioning normally.

Other users have mentioned the Silverlight plugin was blocking certain Hotmail functions in Firefox. Tools > Addons > Plugins - if Silverlight is there, click to highlight it and then hit Disable. See if that solves your problem.

If not that, try clearing your cache.
Tools > Clear Recent History... - hit Details and make sure only Cache is selected, then select Everything and hit the Clear Now button.
