Before I upgraded to the most recent version of fire fox, I was in the internet options area in the "tools" menu and made changes. Now whenever I try to open an new tab from a link, firefox prevents it from being able to do that. How can I stop this?

I get this message each time I try to open a new tab from a link or whenever a page that needs to automatically refresh tries to do it: "firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page." It gives me an option to allow individual tabs to open otherwise I just get a blank white page. I know this was a part of the internet options before I simply can't find it now with the new upgrade. Please help me, I can't upload videos to FB anymore.

See:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.
