Set mail as reminder in calendar
I used to be able to set an email as reminder for some of my events. It is still possible to do that in teh on-line version of Google calendar but I don't see this option (anymore) when editing an event in Thunderbird's calendar. Is there something broken or has this feature been removed deliberately?

I discovered the option was not available in Thunderbird until I synchronised the gmail calendar, then I tried to create another event and the reminder option to 'Send as Email' appeared.
Select gmail calendar Click on 'Synchronise' Select either to edit an existing event or create new. The 'Reminders' 'custom' option will then offer 'Send as Email'
