Is Google device backup taking backups of my Firefox logins/passwords?

On Android I have a zillion of logins / passwords in Firefox, sync'ed with my PCs.

The other day I noticed that a backup of the device is taken, using some mechanism of Android 6.0. The question is: are also my logins/passwords/cookies/history included in this backup, ready to be pried upon by Google and anyone else?

If these data are included in this backup, I'll disable the backup immediately, but I'm afraid that whoever *goux*agency*goux* is out there harvesting sensitive data, now has a complete folder of my own :(

Any info someone?

Firefox disables this feature as it was causing corruption of user data such as bookmarks and history for users.

I'd be grateful for some clarification here. Sure, I understand that Firefox does not use the Android backup API itself. However, AFAIK, Google does take automatically backups of the installed apps. The only question here is whether it automatically backs up app data as well or not.

Thanks. Therefore did Firefox allow use data to be auto backed up, up to a version? If so, can you recall perhaps on which version it stopped?
