How do I fix data input fields that are too small to see what I am typing

more options

On many webpages requiring login, the fields for username and password appear to have been resized so that the fields are too small to see the data that I have input into the field. I believe maybe a virus has corrupted a config file, but uninstalling and re-installing firefox did not resolve the issue.

Same as for the web page itself

Ctrl+0 (zero) to restore zoom level to normal

Ctrl++ to enlarge (zoom in)
Ctrl+- to make smaller (zoom out)
