I stupidly deleted Thunderbird and now i lost my addresses ad not sure i can get them back can someone remote and help me with it see this but too complicated for me for me i had a guy from Just answers do it he made a test profile and it took up of space and i saww all sorts of profiles so i thoughtit would work removing it but it did not i removed and lost all profiles

had to totally  uninstall and reinstall  and now  i an not  get it back

As stated, Thunderbird 128.0user Nebula only download around 448 messages from my shaw.ca mail server. The download starts with the earliest messages on the server, thus no current (latest) emails are downloaded to Nebula. I am short about 3.9k messages in this example. I am using pop3 as "I need the independency" on this computer. Earlier versions of Thunderbirds has no problems keeping up to date with all my accounts and their message volumes.

Just updated from version 60.9.1 to latest (don't ask why). Just spent hours putting things back the way they were, but cannot find a way to get rid of the screen containing things like "Choose What to Set Up", "Import from Another Program", "About Mozilla Thunderbird" etc that shows when no folder is selected from any account (see attached screenshot). I would prefer to see a blank screen in this area when no account folder is selected as previously.

Any way to remove this? if not, how about taking this as a request. Thanks.

I have setup a Message Filter to automatically transfer an email to a local folder. The transfer is not working even when I start the filter manually. I then tried to right click on the email and copy it to the local folder, but that also did not work.

I thought the problem might be with the local folder so I deleted it. When I attempted to add a folder with the same name, I was told that a folder with that name already exists. Very confusing.

I have several other similar filters that work properly.

Is the any log information that could provide a clue to what is not happening.

Threading seems to have returned to my configuration even though I had previously disabled. The information here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/message-threading-thunderbird about disabling it doesn't seem to actually correspond to options that exist in the 'View' menu.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I've got both personal & business. Is there a way to retrieve my old Thunderbird info? [And just so you know, I learned my lesson about not backing up.] And thank you for any help!

During a troubleshooting episode to confirm forwarding from gmail accounts, the email password was reset by the provider Spectrum. Email works properly on a Windows desktop computer but from the time the reset was accomplished have been unable to receive emails on iPad or iPhone. Have entered the new password in mail settings but get the following message: The IMAP server is not responding. Check your network connection and that you have entered the correct information in the "Incoming Mail Server". The password and settings are correct for the mail account. Checked the password saved in settings/password for the email account and found a different password. Tried that password but same message. Am I missing something?

I am suddenly (without having changed anything knowingly) unable to send emails or reply to emails. I get the following message: ELNK003_308 - https://postmaster-earthlink.vadesecure.com/outbound_error_codes/#_308. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again. I have checked and the email address is correct. As I said I had not changed anything knowingly. I did go into settings and changed the outgoing to no authentication. After restarting, I still get the same error. I have no idea what to do.
