How do I download images to my phone's gallery? I can find downloads under 'downloads', but they do not appear in my gallery. I havent't figured out a way to share images from the browser without sharing the link.

If you clear data from "Media Storage" and clear data from the app you're having problems with it forces everything to be re-scanned. hit Menu - Manage Apps - All - Media storage - clear data. It should not delete anything on your SD card.
