Every time my computer boots up and I open Firefox the sign in to Sync icon pops up and my saved logins are all gone. This has been going on for far too long and is totally frustrating. What is the problem?

Are all of your login gone, or are you just not signed in? Is this with many websites, some, a few?

Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar. The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on ONLY Cache and Form And Search History leaving the others off.

Are you using cleanup software like CCleaner that might remove the passwords?

Are all the passwords in the Password Manager gone?

You can check for problems with the logins.json and key4.db files in the profile folder.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
