If you mean that the website remembers you and automatically log you in on a visit then that choice is saved in a special 'remember me' cookie and not the actual password is saved. If that cookie is send then the server recognizes you. If you've forgotten a password then you need to see if there is a link to have you send a new password or you have to contact the website and ask for a new password.
