Lost E-mails
Two days ago I noticed that many messages from my inbox and send folders have disappeared: from one folder those older than a month, from another one those older dan October 1, 2020. I use Thunderbird 78.2.0 on Windows 10. My account settings say "Don't delete any messages". The size of the inbox and send files within the mail folders went significantly down (from c 160.000 to 4000 kb). What might have happened and is it possible to get those e-mails back?

More information: I use "pop", not imap. I have a backup of my account including all mails until September 19, 2020.
