for the past 3 days the yahoo mail site does no longer work on my firefox browser. It works fine on IE and chrome. I can access the email account but than everything is then frozen and some icons are missing.

I tested this on firefox 25.1, 28 and 29 beta. -> still everything frozen "Remove Cookies" -> still everything frozen "Clear the Cache" -> still everything frozen I started the browser without addons and theme (safe mode) -> still everything frozen

yeah creating a new profile solved the problem.

Is there any chance to look into the profile and fix the problem? or do I have to port the settings one by one and test yahoo?
