Hi! When I set up a Google calendar in Thunderbird after entering my login and password, the system asks for "Provider for google сalendar" access, when you click "Allow", the calendar selection window opens, but it’s empty. Moreover, on 7 out of 9 computers, everything works successfully and after clicking "Allow" in the open window, I can select the desired calendar Please help me :)

What are your versions of TB and the Provider add-on?

more options

I have the same problem: details below

Windows 10 TB 68.3.0 (32-bit) Lightning 68.3.0 Provider for Google 68.2.1 No other add-ons

When I attempt to connect to my Google calendars via new calendar > on the network > etc - and I correctly fill in the authorization for Google, the box where the calendars should appear remains blank. Nothing is populated.

I have un-installed TB and reinstalled. I have disabled, removed and re-installed Lightning and Provider and restarted. I have begun with a new profile. The google calendar box remains unpopulated.

I have success with another computer with an older version of TB, and have used that version with the corresponding versions of Lightning and Provider (could not find the exact same version of Provider) and it connects to my google calendars.

Suggestions, please as to next steps to solve this.

Thanks,

Harold

If you have the correct, matching versions of TB, Lightning and Provider, the reason for the failure could be any one of them. See if you can get a Google calendar to work with TBSync/Provider for CalDAV.

Yes, I already tried. The problem is that the computer does not make an entry in the calendar. There is no recording and synchronization, while in the settings in the account is open access.

With TB 38 and v. 3.3 of the Provider add-on (over 2 years old), I would be surprised if it works, given the changes made by Google authentication over that time. I recommend you install TB 60.9.1 or 68.3, with matching Provider add-ons, or TbSync/Provider for CalDAV.

Thanks a lot :)
