I cant seem to get TB to Compact its folders, nothing works. Manual, Automatic, nothing. Profile size has ballooned to 9GB and Im worried about losing stuff to crashes etc. Everything else seems to still be working fine, but?

1. When you attempt to compact a folder by right+click on folder and compact, does anything appear in tools | error console?

2. Please DL and install the addon in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=750569 labeled as "Extension to show expunged bytes". In Thunderbird folder pane add the expunged column and let us know what it indicates for your inbox(es).

3. Please post the information from Help | troubleshooting | copy to clipboard.
