When I long press and save an image it goes to my downloads, is the image stored on my phone? or in app only?

The image does not appear in my phone's gallery, but I can view them in the downloads section of the app. Let's say I want to save and mms the image rather than sharing the link, is this not possible?

Oh, and it's not a plug-in issue because I only have 'Personas' installed, and did so after the image.

The image is saved to the SD card, but it doesn't appear in the Gallery right away because of a bug in Firefox: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=646550

This bug will be fixed in Firefox 5, which will be released in about two months. If you'd like to help test out the fix today, you can download an early preview ("Aurora") version of Firefox 5 from https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android

Thank you for your reply! I did a reboot on my nexus one and found the downloaded images in my gallery after that. It's good to know it's just a bug and not a missed feature in the app. Downloading FF5 Beta now :)
