Firefox 4 will no longer save tabs on closing. I downgraded back to 3.6. When will the new system be fixed?

When closing the browser, Firefox 3.6 asked if I wanted to 'save tabs' for the next session. Firefox 4 does not do this. I downgraded back to 3.6. When will the new 4 be adjusted to ask if I want to save my tabs upon closing?

Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically.
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session.
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page.

Another possibility is to use:

  • Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"
