I teach an online class that works best with Firefox. Sometimes I need to have two windows open at the same time and one might be just an image or it might be on Safari but no matter what I do to have them side by side the firefox window slides out of view, even if the other window is in Firefox! How can I make this stop?

Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the active_x for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the active_x.

Flash Player Version: 24.0.0.186

This looks promising:

"Split View in OS X El Capitan or later lets you fill your Mac screen with two apps, without having to manually move and resize windows." Use two Mac apps side by side in Split View - Apple Support

If you need the windows to be some size other than 50-50, that probably isn't the best solution, but I think you're looking for a MacOS feature/answer rather than something specific to Firefox. (Being a Windows person, that's not an authoritative answer, just a gut feeling.)
