When reading mail in Microsoft Outlook, Firefox sometimes freezes. When exiting Outlook the MSN news page opens automatically. After a while Firefox hangs or freezes when trying to read the news items and often a script error message window pops up. Neither continue nor stop script seems to work. This problem does not occur in IE and not in Chrome either.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?
