I would have a new option Copy right next to the Star.
There are many emails in my boxes but only couple of them are important. A copy symbol should be before to the Star and Attachment. Under the symbol should be a checkbox for each email. Once is checked an automatic notice is sent to mail server about change.
On mail server in control panel like IspConfig3 should be a checkbox next/under to Send copy to: field, with description Only copy approved emails. In chase option checked, only emails checked in Thunderbird will be send forward / copied.

It could be solved directly in Thunderbird. Checkbox is added next to Cc and Bcc.

In Account Settings are two options.
Cc these email adresses: and Bcc these email adresses:
They serve for email copy or forward. I would like to have an additional option there.
Checked Bcc these email adresses: or If checked Bcc these email addresses: If checked, Bcc these email addresses: If checked - Bcc these email addresses:
In Inbox next to star and attachment should be a symbol like B what means Backup. If it was clicked on then it will become red. Only if B is clicked email will be forwarded on specific email address. This is solution for really important emails, which suppose be stored and backuped.
