after upgrade to 29.0 customisations revert to previous positions.
my problem is pretty simple (if not annoying), l have an issue customizing my browser. my original issue was theme related however this was rectified with the "classic theme restorer"..
now everything was fine, l sorted out all the customizations essentially making the broswer look as close to what lm used to as possible (decided to leave the colors as they were, rather than mess everything up) and after l finished l closed down my browser and thought nothing of it until l reopened it.
basically l use an addon called "gmail manager" and l have done for quite a while now, and its been pretty useful considering l have three gmail accounts (professional/personal/website), these buttons to access them have been placed on the addon-bar (or at least thats where l want them) however every time l open my browser two of my account change position to the top (where my address bar is), originally all three accounts did the same but somehow l managed to get one account to stay on the addon bar (tho l cant move it any more, tho that does matter.. what l want is for the other two accounts to stay there as well just like the one lve managed to get to stay put. l did try resetting the browser but that didnt seem to work and since l managed to get one of my accounts permanently placed on the addon bar l dont want to go through the annoyance of having to go through customizations every time l open my browser to unclutter the bar where they seem to revert to. so is there any way to make the customizations permanent?

You might need to configure the options of that add-on by going to the add-on manager -> Extensions -> Gmail Manager Options, then accounts -> gmail account -> Modify -> Toolbar option, you should get something like this where you can edit the placement of that account

even weirder, two of the accounts disappeared from my addon bar (as l moved them there again) and l had to go into customisations again and drag them back (usually the only annoyance is them on the address bar line when l reopen my browser).
weird, my version doesnt look like that.
sorry for the triple post, seems l was using a significantly older version, it still worked but didnt have the options l was looking for, just upgraded and manged to get the accounts to stay on the addon bar tho the actual setting l had to choose was ctr-addon-bar.
No need to be sorry here lol, I'm just glad that I was some sort of assistance
tbh, l likely wouldnt have found it considering how well the option was hidden, that being said lve been up nearly 24hrs now and lm starting to feel like lm loosing mental cohesion lol, need some sleep.
appreciate the help ;)
